Course Description:
This fun and engaging class is designed for future college students who want to maximize their potential for:
- acceptance into their college of choice (by proving that they’ll be an asset to the college!)
- the best internships
- making money during college
- negotiating most awesome positions and salaries after graduation!
During this hands-on course, students will accomplish the following:
- Establish a blog of meaningful content and learn how to maintain it
- Create professional, yet sincere, profiles on major social media venues (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Learn to drive traffic to social media venues, including their blogs, to create interesting dialog and community
- Create a long-term action plan for ongoing contribution and facilitation
